| Who is Jean-Luc Dupont?
The magician:
Mr. Dupont has been studying the craft of magic for 30 years. He has been the president of the Ottawa Society of Magicians and continuously performs at various events. More recently, he has performed for organizations such as the Gatineau Balloon Festival, the Public Service Alliance of Canada, the Department of National Defence, Health Canada and the National Capital Commission. Mr. Dupont was the resident magician at various local restaurants. He was named Ottawa magician of the year in 2005 by the Ottawa Society of Magicians.
The Engineer:
Mr. Dupont graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in Electrical Engineering. He worked for 12 years at Bell Northern Research and Nortel Networks. He has occupied positions as a software designer, system engineer, project manager and product manager. He has participated in a number of conferences and trade shows where he has been awarded prizes for the quality of the message communicated to customers and for the corporate image he projected. Jean-Luc currently combines both his performing talent and technical expertise working as a training specialist at a local high-tech firm.

1976 Jean-Luc receives a magic kit for Christmas at the age of 10.

1998 Jean-Luc performs at his first corporate function – The Public Service Alliance of Canada Christmas Show
Jean -Luc accomplishes his lifelong dream of visiting Las Vegas and seeing numerous acts including Lance Burton and Siegfried and Roy.
1999 Invited to attend the prestigious 4F convention in Buffalo where he receives his 4F Bachelor of Magic.
2000 Visits the London Magic Circle
